Doha – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE), on Thursday, increased in mid trading by 0.27% or 26.64 points to the level of 10,015.93 points.
By 11:05am Doha time, trading volume reached 3.75 million shares exchanged at QAR 160.9 million through 1,117 transactions.
The telecom sector rose 1.12%, backed by an increase of 1.5% in Ooredoo, and the industrial sector grew 0.63% as Industries Qatar advanced 1.49%.
On the other hand, the real estate and banking sectors fell 0.04% and 0.01% respectively.
Qatar General Insurance made the highest trading activity with a volume of 2.08 million shares exchanged at QAR 99.7 million.
