Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed Tuesday’s trading with an increase of 0.67% or 68.82 points to the level of 10,397.58 points.
Trading volume declined to 11.1 million shares from 14.95 million shares exchanged on Monday, turnover also shrank to QAR 338.54 from QAR 449.8 million.
The telecom sector advanced 1.53% due to a 1.96% rise in Ooredoo; the banking sector leapt 0.9% as Qatar First Bank led gainers by adding 2.6%.
The real estate sector ascended 0.34%, backed by an increase of 0.7% in Ezdan Holding.
On the other hand, the services sector fell 0.36% as Mannai slid 1.2% and Medicare group retreated 0.9%.
Qatar Islamic Bank made the highest turnover of QAR 48.08 million, while Mazaya Qatar made the biggest trading volume activity with 2.08 million shares.
