Doha – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) ended Thursday’s session rising 1.29% or more than 136 points to the level of 10,681.08 points; its highest level since November 2015.
The industrial sector was the best performer after adding 1.85% as Industries Qatar headed gainers with a growth of 3.3%. The stock also made the highest liquidity of QAR 41.4 million.
The banking sector also grew by 1.2%, backed by the increase in Commercial Bank of Qatar and QNB by 2.9% and 1.5% respectively.
Meanwhile, Milaha topped losers after falling by 1.6%.
Mesaieed Petrochemical Holding made the biggest trading volume activity with 440,730 traded shares. The stock grew by 0.16%.
