Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Tuesday’s trading in the green, as all sectors jumped.
By 10:00 am Qatar time, the general index grew 1.63% to 9.093.51 points, adding 146.54 points.
Turnover amounted to QAR 46.6 million after 3.4 million shares traded through 938 transactions.
The transportation sector topped the QSE’s gainers adding 3.91% after Qatar Navigation surged 7.95%.
Similarly, the banking sector rose 1.5% on the back of Qatar National Bank’s 1.64% hike, while the industrial sector gained 1.24% as Qatari Investors Group increased 3.73%.
The Investors, which advanced 1.29%, spearheaded the QSE’s trading volume with 432,900 shares, while Masraf Al Rayan, which levelled up 3.03%, led the market in terms of liquidity with QAR 13.9 million.
