Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) opened Thursday’s trading session in green territory.
By 10:49 am Qatar time, the general index rose 33.2 points, or 0.33%, to 10,169 points.
The QSE’s liquidity amounted to QAR 46.34 million after 2.08 million shares were traded through 1,453 transactions.
The goods and services sector led risers with 0.50%, followed by the real estate and insurance sectors which increased 0.43% each.
On the other hand, the industrials and telecommunications sectors fell 0.05% each.
Ahli Bank topped risers with 9.85% to QAR 29, while Dlala Brokerage and Investment Holding led decliners and slid 3.99% to QAR 9.38.
United Development's stock spearheaded the QSE in terms of liquidity and trading volume after 1.13 million shares were traded at a turnover of QAR 15.76 million.
