Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) increased 0.05% or 4.94 points to reach 9,906.32 points in Thursday's open.
By 10:00 am Qatar time, four sectors rose, led by the real estate sector with 1.67% as Ezdan Holding Group grew 2.74% and Barwa gained 0.74%.
The insurance sector went up 1.62%, while the industrials sector levelled up 0.12% after Mesaieed Petrochemical Holding, Gulf International Services, and Qatar Electricity and Water Company (QEWC) increased 1.91%, 1.39%, and 0.52%, respectively.
On the other hand, three sectors fell, topped by the telecoms sector with 0.52%, while the transportation sector lost 0.15%, and the banks sector edged down 0.06%.
Traded volume reached 1.71 million shares, with a liquidity of QAR 30.87 million, through 468 transactions.
Ezdan’s stock led in terms of trading volume with 1.3 million shares exchanged, with a turnover of QAR 14.56 million.
