Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) general index gained 537.97 points, or 6.27%, to close at 9,111.97 points in April.
Total trading value dropped 5.78% month-on-month to QAR 6.07 billion in the fourth month of 2018, while market capitalisation soared 8.26% to QAR 509.3 billion in the same period.
The industrial sector made up 31.03% of the traded shares during the month, while banks sector accounted for 30.3%.
Over the month, a total of 21 stocks grew, as 24 declines.
