Mubasher: The Qatar stock exchange (QSE) ended Wednesday’s trading session in the green, pushed by the growth of four sectors.
The general index inched up 7.36 points, or 0.07%, to finish at 10,496.40 points.
The bourse’s liquidity increased to QAR 378.03 million on Wednesday from QAR 364.77 million on Tuesday, while the trading volume levelled up to 20.28 million shares against 18.82 million in the previous session.
The real estate sector topped the QSE’s gainers adding 3.40% as Ezdan Holding Group and United Development grew 5.69% and 0.28%, respectively.
Similarly, the banking sector rose 0.21% on the back of Al Ahli Bank’s 4.90% increase.
Meanwhile, the telecommunication sector headed the losers falling 0.32% as Ooredoo and Vodafone Qatar went down 0.47% and 0.38%, respectively.
QAMCO’s stock led the QSE in terms of trading volume with 13.9 million shares, generating QAR 184.82 million in liquidity.
