Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Tuesday’s trading in the green.
By 09:47 am Qatar time, the general index inched up 0.04% to 10,675.54 points, adding 4 points.
Turnover amounted to QAR 18.14 million after 900,000 shares were traded through 521 transactions.
The telecommunication sector topped gainers adding 0.8%, while the real estate sector headed the bourse’s decliners after falling 1.08%.
Qatar Insurance’s stock, which rose 0.1%, led the QSE in terms of liquidity with QAR 4.5 million, while Vodafone Qatar’s stock, which advanced 0.96%, posted the highest trading volume with 352,400 shares.
