Doha – Mubasher: The main index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed Thursday’s session with a growth of 0.54% or 53.03 points to 9,941.42 points, recording its fourth rise in a row.
Al Rayan Islamic Index and the All Share Index rose by 0.86% and 0.45% respectively.
Four banks trended higher today, led by QNB which was 0.7% up. Masraf Al Rayan stood next with a 0.21% rise, followed by Doha Bank and QIIB as they ticked up 0.98% and 0.16% respectively.
The industrial and real estate sectors also closed in green, as Qatar Industries rose 0.5%, and Ezdan moved up 0.84%. The property developer’s stock also generated QAR 31.11 million from transactions on 1.72 million shares.
Telecom grew as Ooredoo and Vodafone Qatar rose 1.24% and 3.48% respectively.
With QAR 330.9 million turnover, 10.29 million shares were transacted.
