Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Exchange’s main index dropped 0.8% or 81.67 points to the level of 10,095.88 points in Wednesday’s early trading, due to the fall in the banking sector.
The banking sector fell 0.71% as Dlala Holding shrank 3.57%, while Qatar and Oman Investment advanced 0.9%.
The real estate sector also declined 1.37%, affected by a 1.13% decrease in Ezdan Holding.
Trading volume reached 13.31 million shares through 4,090 trades with a turnover of QAR 257.75 million.
The main index plummeted yesterday by 0.07% or 7 points to 10,177.55 points.
