Doha – Mubasher: The main index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose on Thursday by 0.47% or 47 points to the level of 9,898.6 points.
Turnover decreased 23% to QAR 83.67 million from QAR 108.73 million on Wednesday, trading volume also shrank 22.6% to 2.43 million shares from 3.14 million shares exchanged yesterday.
The bourse’s sectors rose collectively, topped by the telecom, real estate and banking sectors with a growth of 1.08%, 0.54% and 0.53% respectively.
Mannai Corp topped gainers by adding 2.4%, while Qatar Islamic Insurance led decliners after falling 1.5%.
Qatar First Bank was the largest-traded stock with a volume of 400,170 shares, while QNB made the highest liquidity of QAR 15.43 million.
