Doha – Mubasher: The main index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) continued its downward trend for the second day in a row, it fell 0.76% or 78.05 points to the level of 10,184.51 points.
The index was affected by the fall in prices of 32 shares, topped by Ahli Bank which declined 6.35%, while eight other stocks closed in green, led by Doha Insurance with an increase of 4.11%.
The consumer goods and services was the worst performing sector after dropping by 1.98% as Medicare Group, Zad Holding declined by 6.27% and 5.66% respectively.
Turnover increased 27.12% to QAR 359.23 million reached through exchanging 82 million shares, compared to 9.84 million shares exchanged yesterday.
The bourse’s main index fell yesterday by 1.29% or 133.7 points to 10,262.56 points.
