QSE’s main index edges 0.35% higher in early trading

Doha - Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s main index opened Tuesday in positive territory, as it rose about 0.35% or around 35 point to the level of 9,941.12 in early trading.

Al Rayan Islamic Index also leapt about 0.85% to 3,697 points, and the All Shares Index jumped 0.38% to 2,657 points.

Trading value reached about QAR 30.5 million after 519 trades were executed on about 1.2 million shares.

The real estate sector headed the green zone with a growth of 0.75%, while transportation led the red list with a fall of 1.24%.

Islamic Holding was the top gainer in early trading with a rise of 9.94%, while Gulf Navigation was the weakest share as it declined 3.19%.

The bourse’s main index closed Monday at the level of 9,906 after shrinking 0.07% or about 6.92 points.
