QSE’s main index sheds 52 points in early trading

Doha – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) continued its negative performance, as it retreated 0.53% or about 52 points to the level of 9,988.26 points in Tuesday’s early trading.

Al Rayan Islamic Index fell 0.88% to 3,669 points and the All Shares Index dropped 0.45% to 2,667 points.

Trading volume reached about 442,300 shares exchanged at QAR 11.2 million through 330 trades.

The real estate sector was on top of the green list with a rise of 0.21%, while services fell 1.21%.

Meanwhile, Islamic Holding was the best performer with a growth of 2.18%, whereas Ahli Bank was the worst as it plunged 4.57%.

The bourse’s main index plummeted yesterday by 2.64% or 272.04 points to the level of 10,041.70 points.
