Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) main index was near stable early Thursday, after inching down 0.01% to 8,707.09 points.
By 10:00 am Qatar time, the QSE’s traded volume reached 1.1 million shares, via 334 transactions, generating QAR 20.6 million.
The consumer goods and services sector shed 0.29% as Zad Holding Group’s stock fell 6.97%, while Salam International Investment’s stock edged down 0.35%.
The banks sector declined 0.09% after Qatar Islamic Bank’s (QIB) stock dropped 0.70%.
On the other hand, the industrials sector rose 0.30% as Mesaieed Petrochemical Holding Company’s (MPHC) stock increased 1.32% and registered the highest traded volume of 388,500 shares and a turnover of QAR 5.9 million.
