Doha - Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) is expected to start this week with a volatile performance, as speculators will gain control amid loss of confidence among investors who fear more declines, according to markets analyst Faysal Al-Olayan.
“If the index rebounds, it will encounter the first resistance at 9,912 points on its way up, and then will be facing the psychological barrier of 10,000 points,” Al-Olayan told Mubasher.
The QSE’s main index closed Thursday at the level of 9,767 points after sinking 3% or 303 points, as it was negatively affected by the falling oil prices and global markets.
