Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) fell at Monday’s close by 0.78% or 77.93 points to the level of 9,932.34 points.
The number of traded shares increased to 12.67 million from 8.71 million on Sunday, turnover also rose to QAR 333.89 million from QAR 200.01 million.
The market’s sectors fell collectively, topped by the banking sector with a 1.08% drop.
The industrial sector retreated 0.70% as Mesaieed declined 1.4%.
Vodafone Qatar was the largest-traded stock with a volume of 6.55 million shares, while Qatari Investors made the highest turnover of QAR 92.1 million.
