Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) decreased 6.38% or 633.08 points to reach 9,290.52 points in Monday’s early trades.
By 9:42 am, Qatar time, the sectors declined collectively, led by the real estate sector with 9.24% as Mazaya Qatar lost 9.29% and Ezdan Holding Group dropped 9.78%.
The consumer goods and services sector retreated 8.93% after Qatar Fuel (Woqod) and Al Meera Consumer Goods Company fell 9.98% and 9.96%, respectively.
The banks sector went down 6.46% and the industrials sector levelled down 6.81%.
Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt, and Bahrain cut their diplomatic relations with Qatar on Monday.
Traded volume reached 5.47 million shares, through 1,600 transaction, with a turnover of QAR 149.03 million.
Vodafone Qatar’s stock led in terms of trading volume with 1.27 million shares exchanged, while Industries Qatar’s stock was the most active in terms of trading value with a turnover of QAR 17.11 million.
