QSE slides at Monday open on 4 sectors

Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) dropped 0.64% or 57.85 points to reach 9,002.08 points in Monday’s early trades.

By 9:43 am Qatar time, four sectors declined, led by the banks sector as Dlala Brokerage and Investment Holding slid 8.14% and the Commercial Bank of Qatar (CBQ) lost 2.62%.

The telecoms sector went down 0.93% after Ooredoo levelled down 1.1%, while the industrial sector shed 0.8% after Industries Qatar and Mesaieed Petrochemical Holding decreased 1.74% and 0.77%, respectively.

On the other hand, the insurance sector rose 1.02% and the real estate sector inched up 0.08%.

Traded volume reached 243,700 shares with a liquidity of QAR 7.51 million.

Masraf Al Rayan’s stock led in terms of trading volume with 82,800 shares exchanged at a turnover of QAR 2.95 million.
