Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) decreased 0.06% or 5.49 points, reaching 9,063.85 points in Tuesday’s early trades.
By 9:36 am Qatar time, four sectors fell, topped by the transportation sector with 0.51% as Qatar Gas Transport Company Ltd (Nakilat) lost 1.03%.
The consumer goods and services sector inched down 0.06% after Al Meera Consumer Goods Company shed 0.6%, while the banks sector edged down 0.02%.
On the other hand, the telecoms sector increased 0.06%, whereas the industrials and the insurance sectors remained stable.
Traded volume reached 31,450 shares with a liquidity of QAR 630,440, through 37 transactions.
United Development Company’s stock led in terms of trading volume with 10,000 shares exchanged with a turnover of QAR 172,360.
