Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) commenced Sunday and the week in the red, after its general index shed 0.16% or 16.3 points to 9,967.02 points.
By 10 am Qatar time, turnover amounted to QAR 11.52 million after 513,400 shares were traded through 342 transactions.
The transport sector led losers, falling 0.74%, while the industrial sector decreased 0.32%.
Mazaya Qatar’s stock led the QSE’s fallers, losing 1.4%, while the Investors’ stock led gainers adding 3.04%.
Woqod’s stock, down 0.34%, was the value leader with QAR 2.66 million in turnover, while Mesaieed Petrochemical’s stock, up 1.8%, was the most active in terms of volume with 130,350 shares exchanged.
