Doha - Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) edged down 0.03% or 3.66 points to 10,485.62 points at Thursday’s opening.
By 10:08 am Qatar time, the sectors declined collectively with the exception of the banks sector, which inched up 0.04%, while the insurance sector remained unchanged.
The transportation sector lost 0.4% as Milaha dropped 0.66% and Nakilat 0.33%.
The industrials sector shed 0.07% after Gulf International Services and Aamal tumbled 0.89% and 0.55%, respectively.
The real estate and telecoms sector levelled down 0.05% each.
Doha Bank led the QSE’s losers, falling 0.99%, whereas the Commercial Bank of Qatar (CBQ) topped risers with 1.73%.
Traded volume reached 506,580 shares exchanged through 285 transactions at a value of QAR 9.35 million.
Mazaya Qatar’s stock led in terms of trading volume and value with 220,500 shares traded at a value of QAR 3.09 million.
