Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) main index closed Sunday’s trading with a growth of 0.13% or 13.74 points to the level of 10,850.48 points, ending a three-day losing streak.
Trading volume decreased 68.89% to 3.37 million shares from 10.8 million shares exchanged on Thursday, turnover also shrank 68.97% to QAR 111.59 million from QAR 512.7 million.
The insurance sector was the best performer after adding 1.24% as Doha Insurance topped gainers with a rise of 2.44% and Qatar General Insurance also leapt 4.17%.
The industrial, telecom and transportation sectors grew by 0.64%, 0.43% and 0.36% respectively.
Meanwhile, the banking and real estate sectors fell by 0.49% and 0.44% respectively.
