QSE stable at Tuesday’s close

Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed Tuesday’s trading session at 10,336.3 points with marginal losses.

The transportation sector led losers with 0.68% as Milaha and Nakilat lost 1.5% and 0.5%, respectively.

The industrials sector decreased 0.39% after Aamal and Qatar Electricity and Water Company tumbled 4.01% and 1.4%, respectively.

On the other hand, five sectors rose led by the real estate sector with 0.61% as Ezdan Holding Group gained 0.98%.

The banks sector increased 0.31% as Dlala Brokerage and Investment Holding levelled up 2.7%.

Vodafone Qatar’s stock topped risers with 2.73%, and also led in terms of trading volume and value with 4.71 million shares traded at QAR 45.83 million.

Liquidity reached QAR 226.73 million on Tuesday against QAR 144.55 million on Monday, while trading volume rose to 10.68 million shares against 8.14 million shares.

Earlier on Tuesday, the benchmark index shed 0.1% to 10,325.6 points.
