Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) opened Sunday’s trading session in red territory.
By 09:45 am Qatar time, the general index levelled down 0.37% to 10,326.12 points, falling 38.4 points.
Turnover amounted to QAR 7.7 million after 473,000 shares were traded through 288 transactions.
The telecommunication sector topped the bourse’s losers falling 1.38%, followed by the industrial sector with 1.1%.
On the other hand, the real estate sector was the market’s only gainer adding 0.2%.
Barwa Real Estate Holding’s stock led the QSE in terms of liquidity with QAR 2.88 million, while Qatar First Bank’s (QFB), which rose 1.4%, spearheaded the market’s in terms of trading volume with 211,700 shares.
