Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) opened Sunday’s trading session in the red, pressured by the fall of three sectors.
By 09:45 am Qatar time, the general index inched down 0.08% to 10,703.68 points, losing 8.71 points.
Turnover amounted to QAR 27.9 million after 910,200 shares were traded through 673 transactions.
The real estate sector topped decliners falling 1.19% after Ezdan Holding Group decreased 1.52%.
Meanwhile, the industrial sector headed gainers with 0.04% as Qatar National Cement rose 3.78%.
Qatar Insurance’s stock, which advanced 1.385, led the QSE in terms of trading volume with 201,600 shares, generating QAR 8.1 million in liquidity.
