Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Sunday’s trading in green territory.
By 09:47 am Qatar time, the general index grew 0.27% to 8,946.55 points, adding 24 points.
The bourse's turnover amounted to QAR 13.66 million after 343,400 shares were exchanged through 210 transactions.
The insurance sector topped the QSE’s risers adding 2.04%, followed by the telecommunication sector with 0.86%.
Meanwhile, the industrial sector headed the bourse’s decliners falling 0.45%.
Qatar National Bank’s (QNB) stock, which rose 0.66%, led the QSE in terms of liquidity with QAR 6.67 million, while Dlala Holding’s stock, which went up 0.63%, headed the market in terms of trading volume with 56,750 shares.
