Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) opened Sunday’s trading session in positive territory.
By 09:43 am Qatar time, the general index inched up 0.02% to 10,352.51 points, adding 2.2 points.
Turnover amounted to QAR 23 million after 1.1 million shares were traded through 790 transactions.
The real estate sector topped gainers adding 1.9%, while the goods and services sector headed the bourse’s decliners losing 0.55%.
Qatar Aluminums Manufacturing Company’s (QAMCO) stock, which rose 0.53%, led the market in terms of trading volume with 461,000 shares, generating QAR 6.13 million in liquidity.
