QSE starts Sunday lower

Mubasher: The benchmark index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Sunday’s trading session in the red zone.

The main index retreated by 0.11% or 11.71 points to reach 10,978.05 points by 10:10am Doha time.

The industrial segment led four decliners with 0.34%, dragged by Gulf International Services which lost 1.90%.

Meanwhile, the real estate sector topped three gainers with 0.50% on the back of Barwa Real Estate which rose by 0.69%.

QSE’s turnover amounted to QAR 24 million, after nearly 488,450 shares were exchanged through 394 transactions.

Gulf International was the most active stock on which around 128,300 shares were traded.

Widam recorded the highest liquidity that mounted to QAR 7.7 million. The stock levelled up by 1%.
