Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Sunday’s trading session 0.29% or 30.73 points lower to reach 10,436.50 points by 10am Doha time.
The banks segment led six decliners with 0.41%, dragged by Al Khaliji Bank which lost 8.70%.
Meanwhile, the telecom sector was the only gainer with a gain of 0.83%, on the back of Vodafone and Ooredoo which rose by 1.01% and 0.40%, respectively.
Trading value amounted to QAR 26.3 million after about 712,800 shares were exchanged through 542 transactions.
Masraf Al Rayan was the most active stock on which nearly 165,400 shares were traded at a value of QAR 6.7 million, rising 0.74%.
