Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) opened Thursday's trading session in red territory, pressured by the fall of three sectors.
By 9:55 am Qatar time, the main index inched down 3.63 points, or 0.04%, to 9,610.15 points.
The bourse's trading volume amounted to 822,840 shares exchanged at a turnover of QAR 15.72 million through 402 transactions.
The industrials sector shed 0.15% as Aamal Company’s stock fell 1.49%, while the banks and financial services sector decreased 0.03% after the stocks of Dlala Brokerage and Investment Holding and Qatar National Bank went down 3.61%, and 0.12%, respectively.
On the other hand, the real estate sector edged up 0.48% as Ezdan Holding Group’s stock inched up 0.98%.
Doha Bank’s stock, down 0.52%, led the bourse in terms of liquidity after generating QAR 3.55 million, while Ezdan Holding Group’s stock topped in terms of traded volume after 190,000 shares were exchanged.
