Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) opened Wednesday’s trading session in positive territory.
By 10:09 am Qatar time, the general index grew 0.17% to 9,326.65 points, adding 16.1 points.
The bourse's turnover amounted to QAR 62 million after 2.4 million shares changed hands through 1,010 transactions.
The insurance sector topped the QSE’s gainers adding 2.08%, while the transportation sector headed the bourse’s decliners losing 0.7%.
Qatar Insurance’s stock led the market in terms of trading volume with 675,720 shares, generating QAR 26.5 million in liquidity.
