Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) opened Monday in red, as it fell 0.50% or 48.3 points to 9,625.61 points.
Al Rayan Islamic Index plunged 0.50% to 3,528 points, and the All Shares Index sank 0.43% to 2,569 points.
Trading value reached QAR 16.4 million through executing 290 trades on 414,100 shares.
The telecom sector headed the red zone as it dropped 1.36%, while services was the top gainer after advancing 0.95%.
The Qatar for Cinema and Film Distribution was the best performer in early trading with 10% higher, while the Qatari Investors Group was the worst through a decline of 2.59%.
The bourse’s main index closed yesterday falling 0.96% or 93.32 points to the level of 9,673.9 points.
