Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Wednesday in the green after its main index rose 3.95 points, or 0.04%, to 9,769.83 points.
By 9:55 am Qatar time, the QSE’s trading volume reached 1.09 million shares, via 651 transactions, generating QAR 25.73 million.
The industrials sector led gainers with 0.36% as Aamal Company’s stock increased 1.39%.
On the flipside, the real estate sector topped losers with 1.22% after Ezdan Holding Group’s stock levelled down 2.15%.
Qatar Insurance Company’s (QIC) stock was the best performer with 2.95%, whereas the stock of Qatar Oman Investment was the worst performer with 5.26%.
Mesaieed Petrochemical Holding’s stock, down 3.19%, led in terms of trading volume with 595,970 exchanged shares, while Industries Qatar’s stock topped in terms of liquidity with QAR 35.85 million.
