Doha – Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) opened Sunday in the green zone, amid anticipation of the outcome of the Doha meeting to consider oil production freeze.
The main index rose 0.08% or 7.88 points to the level of 10,246.05 points.
Turnover reached QAR 43.15 million as 1.3 million shares were exchanged through 1,001 transactions.
The real estate was the best performing sector with an increase of 0.48%, while the consumer goods and services was the worst after falling 0.49%.
Dlala Brokerage and Investment Holding topped gainers by adding 1.72%, whereas Al Khaleej Takaful headed losers with a 1.88 decrease.
The bourse’s main gauge closed yesterday with a decline of 0.08% or 7.7 points to the level of 10,238.17 points.
