QSE up 42.66 pts at Monday opening

Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose 0.41% or 42.66 points to 10,552.54 points in Monday’s opening session.

At 10:03am Qatar time, six sectors increased led by real estate with 0.62%, as Ezdan Holding and Barwa levelled up 0.82% and 0.69%, respectively.

Industrials edged up 0.61% as Aamal went up 1.84%, and Qatari Investors Group, Industries Qatar, and Gulf International Services rose 0.81, 0.63%, and 0.54%, respectively.

Banks increased 0.32% topped by Al Khalij Commercial Bank, Masraf Al Rayan, and The Commercial Bank of Qatar which went up 1.64%, 0.93%, and 0.63%, respectively.

Widam Food Company gained 4.1%, while Qatar Islamic Insurance slid 3.67%.

The volume of trades reached 862,270 shares worth QAR 27.94 million through 511 transactions.

Ezdan Holding’s stock led in terms of trading volume with 216,410 shares exchanged, while Masraf Al Rayan topped the traded values with QAR 8.22 million.
