Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose 0.63% or 65.56 points to 10,477.33 points in Wednesday’s opening session.
At 10:05am Qatar time, all sectors had increased, led by banks with 0.73%, as Commercial Bank of Qatar (CBQ), National Leasing Holding Company, Qatar National Bank (QNB), and Doha Bank levelled up 2.89%, 1.16%, 0.88%, and 0.83%, respectively.
Industrials edged up 0.48%, topped by Qatari Investors Group, Industries Qatar, and Gulf International Services which went up 0.99%, 0.9%, and 0.18, respectively.
In the real estate sector, United Development Company, Ezdan Holding, and Barwa gained 0.55%, 0.51%, and 0.42%, respectively.
The volume of trades reached 654,800 shares worth QAR 22.85 million through the implementation of 516 transactions.
Masraf Al Rayan led in terms of trading volume with 208,520 shares exchanged at a value of QAR 8.96 million.
