Riyadh – Mubasher: The net earnings of Qassim Cement Company (QCC) recorded SAR 85.47 million in the second quarter (Q2) of 2020, an increase of 21.3% when compared to SAR 70.46 million in the year-ago period.
The growing profits were boosted by a rise in sales as the average selling price increased, coupled with higher other income, according to a bourse filing on Monday.
On the other hand, the company’s general and administrative expenses, and selling and marketing expenses leapt whereas revenue from financial investments slumped.
Revenue signalled an 8.35% growth during the period between April and June of the year, standing at SAR 167.44 million from SAR 154.53 million in the same period in 2019.
