Mubasher: Trade exchange between Qatar and the US has doubled over the past few years, Muhammed Bin Ahmed Bin Towar Al-Kuwari, vice-chairman of the Qatari Chamber of Commerce, said.
The bilateral trade between the two nations amounted $5.5 billion during the full-year 2017, Al-Kuwari said on the sideline Qatar–US Business Forum.
The forum kicked off on Tuesday, 30 October, to boost cooperation between both countries in different fields including oil, defense, healthcare, transportation, and financial services.
This meeting, which took place at Qatar Chamber, also aims to strengthen trade relations between the two countries.
It is worth noting that around 650 US firms are operating in the Persian country, 117 companies of them are fully established with a US capital.
