Mubasher: Qatar Airways announced receiving new 26 planes in 2018, boosting its fleet to 226 jets.
Cargo airline operations rose 10.6% year-on-year in the year before, Qatar’s state-owned airline said in a statement on Monday.
As for new destinations, the Qatari carrier launched flights to Cardiff in the UK, Canberra, Mombasa, Gothenburg, Da Nang in Vietnam, Thessaloniki and Mykonos in Greece, Málaga in Spain, and the Turkish cities Antalya and Bodrum.
Qatar Airways swung to loss in the fiscal year ended 31 March 2018, incurring QAR 251.59 million, against a profit of QAR 2.79 billion in the prior-year period.
