Qatar Airways adds 23 destinations in 18M, eyes expansion

Doha – Mubasher: Qatar Airways has announced the addition of 23 new destinations in the last 18 months, with more expected next year.

The carrier has launched new flights to Kenya’s Mombasa and Sweden’s Gothenburg in December, along with a fresh flight to Vietnam’s Da Nang scheduled to be commenced on 19 of December, the CEO of the state-owned airline Akbar Al Baker said.

Iran’s Isfahan and Malta’s Valletta destinations will be announced in 2019, he added.

We are aiming to launch new flights to various destinations to enable the residents of these areas to have access to the world, the top official remarked.

Qatari Airways owns a fleet of more than 200 jets travelling to over 160 destinations worldwide.
