Doha – Mubasher: Qatar Airways ordered from Boeing Co (BA.N) up to 100 jetliners worth around $18.6 billion, both companies said on Friday.
The Qatari airline will purchase 30 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners and 10 777-300ERs, valued at $11.7 billion at list prices.
Qatar Airways also signed a letter of intent for up to 60 narrowbody 737 MAX jets worth $6.9 billion.
The airline’s current fleet includes 84 Boeing aircrafts.
