Doha-Mubasher: Qatar Airways increased its stake in British Airways-owner International Airlines Group (IAG) to 15.01%, according to a bourse statement.
Doha-based owned carrier will consider increasing its shareholding further in the future.
However, IAG refused to comment on Qatar Airways’ decision to expand its stake.
Under current European Union rules, foreign investors are limited to holding 49% of a European carrier.
