Mubasher: Qatar Airways on Sunday has started its first flight to the second destination in Mombasa, Kenya to be the first carrier in the Middle East to launch direct flights to the African city.
The Qatari company will operate four weekly flights to Mombasa, while it is currently operating three daily flights between Doha and the capital, Nairobi, according to a statement.
After the start of flights to Mombasa, Qatar Airways’ flights to to the East African nation will rise to 25 on a weekly basis.
The Qatari carrier is currently operating a fleet of more than 200 jets which are having flights to over 160 global destinations.
