Qatar Cabinet ratifies 8 international agreements, MoUs

Mubasher:  The Cabinet on Wednesday ratified eight international agreements and memorandums of understanding (MoUs) in its weekly ministerial meeting.

The ministerial council approved an agreement between Qatar and Turkey on mutual legal cooperation in the criminal affairs, in addition to a cooperation protocol to boost central banks’ operations in the two countries.

Furthermore, the cabinet of the world’s biggest exporter of liquefied natural gas (LNG) agreed a MoU with Ankara to enhance tourism, legal and judicial mutual collaboration.

Doha’s government also agreed a MoU with Turkey in an effort to bolster food production and humanitarian assistance.

In an attempt to step up cooperation between Qatar Media Corporation and Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT), the ministerial council of the world's richest country per capita approved a MoU between the two state-run entities.

Qatar also gave nod to cancel visa requirements for Ethiopian passport holders.
