Mubasher: Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has renewed a five-year term for Abdulla bin Saoud Al Thani, governor of the Qatar Central Bank (QCB).
The renewal is effective 19 June and is issued under decree no. 27 of 2018.
Bin Saoud Al Thani took up the post of QCB governor in May 2006 and has received two renewals since. Prior to becoming the QCB’s governor bin Saoud Al Thani was QCB deputy governor between 1990 and 2001.
