Mubasher: The Qatar Exchange rose for the second consecutive week, supported by the gains of five market sectors.
The main index gained 30.06 points, or 0.35%, to end the week at the level of 10,364.54 points.
Market capitalization recorded QAR 588.4 billion, compared with QAR 583.3 billion by the end of last week, increasing by 0.79%.
The telecom sector index rose 3.44%, real estate added 3.18%, and transportation increased by 1.01%.
Similarly, banks and insurance went up 0.82% and 0.26%, respectively.
On the other hand, industry and goods declined 0.37% and 0.20%, respectively.
Doha Insurance led the 27 rising stocks, as it gained 6.36% over the course of the week.
Traded values surged 93.68% to QAR 2.09 billion, compared with QAR 1.08 billion last week.
Traded volumes totalled 63.21 million shares, increasing by 148.76%.
