Mubasher: Qatar General Insurance and Reinsurance Company on Thursday said that the company plans for divesting from the UAE’s insurance market through its branch in Dubai.
The company mulls over implementing the exit plan from Dubai’s insurance market after the approval of regulators, according to a bourse filing.
Last November, Qatar General Insurance managed to extend its license for the branch in Dubai after facing some obstacles on the back of the rift of Gulf countries with Doha.
