Doha – Mubasher: Qatar Insurance Company decreased 1.24% to QAR 87.8, coinciding the low profits of the company in the fourth quarter of 2016.
By 11:45 on Wednesday Qatari time, traded volume of the stock reached 34,400 shares at a value of QAR 3.03 million.
The insurance company posted a fall of 7.6% in its profits for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2016 to QAR 339 million versus QAR 367 million for Q4-15.
Profits for the fiscal year 2016 reached 1.05 billion, 1% down from QAR 1.06 billion for the fiscal year 2015.
